GROWING IN MOTHER NATURE’S BEST INTEREST.

In 2014, Chef Ben Bebenroth moved his family of four to Spring Hill Farm (now Spice Acres). The homestead was not only perfect for raising his kids, it was also a dream come true – encompassing 13 acres of rich, Ohio landscape where he could grow and nurture the plants and livestock needed for his catering and restaurant businesses.

Spice Acres is a unique gem in the country. It’s one of only 11 farms that are part of a farm-leasing program in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park called the Countryside Initiative. Managed in partnership with the Countryside Conservancy, it is the only program in the country that conserves National Park land through sustainable farming.

Spice Acres eggs, veggies, honey and flowers can be purchased through our farm share membership and at our farm-side market stand. Beginning in June, the farm-side market stand will be open Thursday-Sunday from 9am to dusk.
